This TASK provides the procedure for the external inspection of the fuel nozzle support assemblies.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-00-220-154 Visually Examine the External Surface on each of the 20 Fuel Nozzles

      1. Visually examine the external surface on each of the 20 fuel nozzles.

        1. Surface does not exhibit carbon deposits, soot, cracks or evidence of leaks

        2. Accept

        1. Indication of leaks, cracks, soot or carbon deposits

        2. Reject

    2. NOTE

      If rejected, remove fuel nozzle by TASK 72-42-00-040-001 (DISASSEMBLY) and install replacement fuel nozzle by TASK 72-42-00-430-001 (ASSEMBLY).
