Use a Hand Grinder 1 off and Abrasive Stone or Fine File 1 off.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Dress the damaged area of the curvic teeth.
Use a Hand Grinder 1 off and Abrasive Stone.
Use CoMat 05-019 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE, CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE.
The surface finish of the repaired area must be the same as the adjacent area.
Polish the dressed area to get a surface finish equal to the adjacent area.
SUBTASK 72-00-32-350-056 Remove the Damage from the Stub Shaft Assembly
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501. Use CoMat 06-018 FLUORESCENT PENETRANT (POST-EMULSIFIED HIGH SENSITIVITY). No cracks are permitted.

CAUTION
DO NOT WASH THE PART BY USING COLD WATER TO PREVENT RUSTING.Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
