This TASK gives the procedure to clean the rear pin. For the other parts of the external gearbox module, refer to TASK 72-00-60-100-000.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-60-110-055 Remove the Grease

    1. Remove the grease. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503

    2. SUBTASK 72-00-60-110-056 Remove the Rust and Scale

      1. Remove the rust. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-16-300-503

      1. Follow the cautions in the SPM TASK.

      2. NOTE

        Do this SUBTASK again if the rust and scale can still be seen.

        Remove the scale. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-16-300-503
