This TASK gives the procedure to clean the rear blade retaining ring.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-31-12-110-054 Remove the Soft Dirt and the Dust

      1. Remove the soft dirt and the dust. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      2. Use a soft bristle brush.

      1. Dry.

      2. Use clean dry air blast or clean lint free cloth.

    1. SUBTASK 72-31-12-110-055 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant

    2. NOTE

      This SUBTASK and Step are alternatives.

      Remove dry film lubricant. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-06-300-503.

    1. SUBTASK 72-31-12-110-061 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant

      1. NOTE

        This SUBTASK and Step are alternatives.

        Remove dry film lubricant. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-12-07-120-501.

      2. Plastic blast. If a suction type machine is used, the maximum pressure is 30 psi (207 Kpa). Alternatively, if a pressure type machine is used, the maximum pressure is 15 psi (103.5 Kpa).
