General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the PTO carrier seal. For the other PTO drive shaft bearing and support parts, refer to TASK 72-32-05-100-000.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-05-110-051 Remove the Soft Dirt and Dust

      1. Remove the soft dirt and dust. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503

      1. Use a soft bristle brush or swab.

      2. Dry.

      1. Use clean dry air blast.
