Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-17-350-059 Remove Damaged Pin

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Remove damaged pin.

      1. Use a punch and a mallet.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-17-350-060 Blend the Locating Pin Hole

      1. Blend raised metal and rough surface around the pin hole.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-17-110-058 Clean the Pin Hole

      1. Clean the pin hole.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-17-350-061 Install the Pin

    1. Refer to Figure

      2. Select the pin.

      1. Select the pin to get the adequate fit, 0.0001 in. (0.002 mm) to 0.0012 in. (0.032 mm) tight fit.

      3. Chill the new pin.

      1. Chill the pin using dry ice for 15 minutes.

    4. Install the pin.

    5. SUBTASK 72-32-17-350-062 Examine the Pin of the No. 2 Bearing Support

      1. Examine the repaired pin.

      1. Refer to TASK 72-32-17-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).
