This TASK gives the procedure to clean the No. 2 bearing retainer. For the other No. 2 bearing support and probe bracket parts, refer to TASK 72-32-17-100-000 (CLEANING-000).

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-17-110-005-001 Chemically Clean the No. 2 Bearing Retainer

    1. Clean the No. 2 bearing retainer. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      2. Dry.

      1. Use clean dry air blast.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-17-110-055-003 Chemically Clean the No. 2 Bearing Retainer

    1. Clean the No. 2 bearing retainer. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      2. Dry.

      1. Use clean dry air blast.
