Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-41-110-057 Clean the Area for Repair

      CAUTION

      SURFACES FOR REPAIR MUST BE FULLY CLEANED AND NOT TOUCHED BY HAND.

      1. Clean the area to be coated.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-41-350-002 Prepare the No. 1 Bearing Front Support Assembly for Surface Protection

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. If epoxy varnish coat are damaged, carefully cut away any epoxy varnish coat.

      1. Use a scalpel.

      3. Rub down the damaged area for repair, feather the edges and make smooth.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-41-110-058 Clean the Area for Repair

      1. Clean the area to be coated.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-41-350-003 Touch Up Damaged Paint of the No. 1 Bearing Front Support

    1. Refer to Figure.

      NOTE

      This procedure is only used when the epoxy varnish coat is damaged.

      3. Touch up the damaged coating.

        2. Refer to the SPM SUBTASK 70-38-34-300-002.

    4. Remove the masking tape.

    5. SUBTASK 72-32-41-210-001 Examine the Repaired Area of the No. 1 Bearing Front Support Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Visually examine the repaired areas.

      1. Make sure the surface is smooth.

      2. It is accepted if the color is not equal.
