Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-51-350-051 Remove the Damage from the NF Probe Phonic Wheel Assembly

      1. Make smooth and/or hand polish to remove burrs.

      2. Use abrasive stone and/or fine file.

      3. Surface finish of the repair must be the same as the adjacent area, Figure.

      4. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-51-220-057 Examine the NF Probe Phonic Wheel Assembly

      1. Visually examine the repaired area.

      2. Visually examine the repaired area for burrs.

      3. Refer to TASK 72-32-51-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-51-240-051 Examine the NF Probe Phonic Wheel Assembly for Cracks

      1. Magnetic particle examine the repaired area.

      2. Refer to TASK 72-32-51-200-000 (INSPECTION-000) and the SPM TASK 70-24-01-240-501.

      3. No cracks are permitted.
