Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-60-350-063 Remove the Damaged Pin

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Remove the damaged pin.

      1. Use pincers.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-60-350-064 Blend the Pin Hole

      1. Blend the raised metal and rough surface around the pin hole.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-60-380-056 Surface Treat the Bore Surface of the LPC Bleed Duct Assembly

      1. Clean the pin hole.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      2. Do a chemical touch up to the bore surface with a brush.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-60-350-065 Install the Locating Pin

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Select a locating pin.

      1. Select a pin to get the best fit, 0.00020 to 0.00134 in. (0.005 to 0.034 mm) tight fit.

      3. Chill the new locating pin.

      1. Chill the locating pin using dry-ice for 15 minutes.

    4. Install the locating pin.

    5. SUBTASK 72-32-60-220-092 Examine the Installed Pin

      1. Examine the installed pin.

      1. Refer to TASK 72-32-60-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).
