Safety Requirements
NONEProcedure
Refer to VRS1355, TASK 72-32-76-300-002 (REPAIR-002).
Apply primer to bond surfaces.
Use IAE 3J13156 Locating holder 1 off or IAE 3J13171 Stand, working 1 off and IAE 3J13174 Locating holder 1 off to obtain the correct vanes position.
Apply CoMat 07-070 ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER to the surface of washers, where contact with the inner ring.
Apply CoMat 10-077 APPROVED ENGINE OILS to the bolts and torque the bolts to between 32 and 36 lbfin (0.407 and 0.361 mdaN).
Install the new vane in position.
Refer to VRS1355, TASK 72-32-76-300-002 (REPAIR-002).
Fill the silicone rubber compound and cure.
SUBTASK 72-32-76-360-054 Attach the New Vane in Position
Refer to TASK 72-32-76-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).
Examine the repaired area.
Refer to Figure.

CAUTION
IF VANES ARE INCORRECTLY ASSEMBLED, BLADES SUFFER EXCESSIVE STRESS WHICH MAY LEAD TO A BREAKDOWN OF THE BLADES.Examine the vane location.
