Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-83-350-061 Blend the Damaged Surface of the LPC Rear Case Assembly (02-900)

    2. Refer to Figure, Figure and Figure.

      1. Blend the damaged surface.

        1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

        2. Deleted.

        3. The width of the repaired area is to be minimum 30 times the depth.

        4. Blend limit per Figure.

        5. If abradable seal is removed with parent material for smooth blending, blend the abradable seal in accordance with Figure.

        6. If the damage can not be removed in accordance with the blend limit, Figure reject the LPC rear case assembly.

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-83-220-243 Examine the LPC Rear Case Assembly (02-900)

      1. Visually examine the repaired area.

      2. Visually examine the damaged surface. Use a 10x magnifying glass.

        Refer to TASK 72-32-83-200-000 (INSPECTION/CHECK-000).

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-83-230-106 Examine the LPC Rear Case Assembly (02-900) for Cracks

      1. Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.

        1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.

        2. Deleted.

        3. No crack are permitted.

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-83-380-055 Surface Treat the Blended Surface of the LPC Rear Case Assembly (02-900)

      1. Degrease the blended surface with a cloth.

        1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

        2. Deleted.

      1. Do a chemical touch up to the blended surface by a brush.

        1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-02-300-503.

        2. Deleted.
