Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-86-350-061 Polish the Surface

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Make smooth and hand polish to remove loose fiber.

      2. All loose fiber must be removed.

      3. To remove the fiber, scissors and/or hand cutter may be used.

      4. Surface finish of the repair must be the same as the adjacent area.

      5. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-86-220-087 Examine the Rear Fairing Assembly

      1. Visually examine the repaired area.

      1. Cracks loose fibers, delamination, galls, nicks, pits, scratches or burrs are not permitted.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-86-350-062 Mark Repair Number on the Rear Fairing Assembly

      1. Make a mark VRS1938 adjacent to the part number.
