General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the fuel flow divider valve bracket. For the other parts of the HP system module, refer to TASK 72-40-00-100-000 (CLEANING-000).

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants, refer to the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-40-00-110-064 Remove the Grease and Oil

      1. Remove the grease and oil. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      2. Degrease parts by aqueous cleaning.

    1. SUBTASK 72-40-00-120-052 Remove the Primer

      1. Remove the primer. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-12-07-120-501.

      2. Dry plastic blasting.
