    1. SUBTASK 72-41-11-110-055 Clean the Surfaces

      1. Clean the surfaces which are to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-01-300-503.

    2. SUBTASK 72-41-11-380-051 Apply the Dry Film Lubricant

      1. CAUTION

        DO NOT ABRASIVE BLAST THIS IS A SHOT PEENED AREA.

        Apply masking tape to areas which are not to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.

      2. Apply 3 layers of dry film lubricant.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501 SUBTASK 70-38-03-380-002.

      3. Refer to Figure and Figure.

    3. SUBTASK 72-41-11-380-052 Stove the Component

      1. Stove the component.

      1. Examine the layer of dry film lubricant.

      1. Vibration peen the new part number adjacent to the assembly part number.
