Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-03-230-501.
Use CoMat 06-022 FLUORESCENT PENETRANT (POST-EMULSIFIED ULTRA HIGH SENSITIVITY) with penetrant crack test equipment.
Cracks are not permitted.
Do a penetrant crack test.
SUBTASK 72-41-11-230-090 Do a Crack Test
Refer to Figure.
The maximum depth to be removed must not be more than 0.005 in. (0.13 mm).
Use standard workshop equipment with CoMat 05-106 ABRASIVE STONE and/or CoMat 05-111 EMERY POLISHING PAPER.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Remove small areas of damage as necessary.
Use standard workshop equipment with CoMat 05-106 ABRASIVE STONE and/or CoMat 05-111 EMERY POLISHING PAPER.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Blend the area of repair.
Make sure that the surface finish is the same as the adjacent material.
Use standard workshop equipment with CoMat 05-110 EMERY POLISHING PAPER and/or CoMat 05-111 EMERY POLISHING PAPER.

Polish the area of repair.
