Do a penetrant crack test.

The diameter of the repaired areas is to be 50 times the depth. The maximum depth of the repaired areas is to be 0.005in. (0.13 mm).
Remove the damaged material, as necessary. Do not remove more than is necessary.

Make sure all damage marks are completely removed and the area(s) made smooth into the adjacent material.
Make the repaired areas smooth.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Polish the repaired area(s) to remove the scratches and to give a smooth surface finish.
Polish the repaired area(s).
