Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501. Use CoMat 05-106 ABRASIVE STONE, CoMat 05-110 EMERY POLISHING PAPER or CoMat 05-120 POLISHING CLOTH and a fine file.
Blend wear and galling in the cooling air bosses.
SUBTASK 72-42-35-350-051 Blend the Cooling Air Bosses in the No. 4 Bearing Front Cooling Duct
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501. Use CoMat 05-106 ABRASIVE STONE, CoMat 05-110 EMERY POLISHING PAPER or CoMat 05-120 POLISHING CLOTH and a fine file.
Blend surface damage on the duct.
SUBTASK 72-42-35-350-052 Blend Surface Damage on the No. 4 Bearing Front Cooling Duct Other than the Cooling Air Bosses
Make sure there is no high metal and the air tubes can move freely. Refer to TASK 72-42-35-200-001.
Examine the air cooling bosses and all other surfaces after blend repair.
