    1. SUBTASK 72-43-20-350-051 Lap the No. 4 Bearing Face Seal (01-180) or (01-208)

    1. Refer to: Figure

      2. Lap the face seal.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-18-300-503.

    2. SUBTASK 72-43-20-220-065 Examine the No. 4 Bearing Face Seal (01-180) or (01-208) after Lap Repair

    1. Refer to: Figure

    2. Examine the face seal for the surface finish and the flatness.

      3. Examine the face seal for the height of the carbon seal lip.

      1. If the height of the carbon seal lip is less than 0.115 in. (2.92 mm).
