Prepare the material and the surface.
SUBTASK 72-50-22-330-074 Prepare the Material and Surfaces
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-14-380-501 and Figure.
Apply coating in area A1.
SUBTASK 72-50-22-380-089 Touch-Up Coating of the Stage 4 Turbine Vane
Before diffusion heat treatment remove the honeycomb, refer to VRS4367 TASK 72-50-22-300-084 (REPAIR-084).
After diffusion heat treatment replace the honeycomb, refer to VRS4367 TASK 72-50-22-300-084 (REPAIR-084).
Do the precipitation heat treatment after honeycomb replacement VRS4367 TASK 72-50-22-300-084 (REPAIR-084).
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-14-380-501.
Diffuse the recoated stage 4 turbine vane.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-37-27-370-501, except temperature range to be 1625 deg F to 1675 deg F (885 deg C to 913 deg C) for 8 hours.
Precipitation heat treat the stage 4 turbine vane.
SUBTASK 72-50-22-370-075-001 Diffusion Heat Treatment of the Recoated Stage 4 Turbine Vane
NOTE
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-14-380-501 except diffusion heat treat at 1575 deg F to 1625 deg F (857 deg C to 885 deg C) for 2 hours.
Diffuse the recoated stage 4 turbine vane.
SUBTASK 72-50-22-370-075-002 Diffusion Heat Treatment of the Recoated Stage 4 Turbine Vane
NOTE
Precipitation heat treatment is not necessary after optional diffusion heat treatment.Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-14-380-501.
Examine the recoated areas.
