Use a clean lint-free cloth which is moist with degreasing fluid.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.
Remove the grease from the area of damaged coating.
SUBTASK 72-50-41-110-056 Remove the Grease from the LP Turbine Shaft

Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-21-380-501.
Rub down the damaged area with waterproof abrasive paper. Remove the damage smoothly in to the adjacent area.
SUBTASK 72-50-41-350-056 Prepare Surface Protection to the LP Turbine Shaft
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.
Use a clean lint-free cloth which is moist with degreasing fluid and clean the damaged area.
Remove the grease from the damaged area.
SUBTASK 72-50-41-110-057 Remove the Grease from the LP Turbine Shaft

Use CoMat 07-038 AIR DRYING ENAMEL or CoMat 07-037 CORROSION RESISTANT TOUCH-UP COATING and apply one coat with a brush.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-21-380-501.
Apply the corrosion resistant coating to the damaged area.
Let the painted area become dry in air for 30 minutes before handling.
Coating will air dry in 24 to 48 hours.

Let the LP turbine shaft become dry in air for 30 minutes before handling.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-21-380-501.
Examine the coating surface.
