Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 73-13-41-350-055 Rework the Air Reflector Bracket

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Mark out the area to be removed

      1. Refer to Figure.

      3. Remove the material to give the dimension 1.055 to 1.095 in. (26.8 to 27.8 mm) and a chamfer of 38 to 42 degrees.

      4. Remove any sharp edges or burrs

    2. SUBTASK 73-13-41-230-052 Examine the Bracket for Cracks

      1. Do a penetrant crack test.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-23-01-230-501.

    3. SUBTASK 73-13-41-350-056 Identify the Rework Bracket with the New Part Number

      1. Vibration peen the new part number adjacent to the assembly part number.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-09-00-400-501.
