Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 73-22-35-110-051 Clean the Data Entry Plug Assembly

      NOTE

      This procedure is for a disassembled data entry plug.

    1. Clean the pins, jumpers and rubber insert of the connector assembly with CoMat 02-174 COTTON SWABS and CoMat 01-124 ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL.

    2. Dry immediately with clean dry air at a maximum pressure of 30 psig (206.8 kPa).

    3. Clean the external surface of the connector and the external and the internal surfaces of the backshell with CoMat 01-001 SOLVENT, DELETED and CoMat 02-175 BRUSH or clean by the procedure given in SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

    4. Dry with clean, dry air at a maximum pressure of 30 psig (206.8 kPa).

    5. Clean the chain of the backshell with CoMat 01-005 SOLVENT CLEANER and a clean cloth.

    6. Dry with clean, dry air at a maximum pressure of 30 psig (206.8 kPa).
