General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the brackets. For the other parts of the P4.9 sensor and manifold, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 73-22-51-100-400.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants, refer to the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 73-22-51-110-053-001 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-13-300-503.

      1. Cleaning of components (long soak, for cobalt and nickel base alloys and heat and corrosion resistant steels)

    2. SUBTASK 73-22-51-110-053-002 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-33-300-503.

      1. Solvent cleaning

    3. SUBTASK 73-22-51-110-053-003 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.
