General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the cooling air duct assembly of the ACC.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used.

NOTE

To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.
Consumable materials are given in SPM TASK 70-11-06-300-503 and SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-49-110-053-001 Clean the Cooling Air Duct Assembly of the ACC

      1. Clean the cooling air duct assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-06-300-503.

      1. Moderately clean titanium.

      2. Make sure that no cooling holes in the tubes become blocked.

      3. Make sure that the inner surfaces of the tubes are dry.

    2. SUBTASK 75-24-49-110-053-002 Clean the Cooling Air Duct Assembly of the ACC

      1. Clean the cooling air duct assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      1. Solvent cleaning.

      2. Make sure that no cooling holes in the tubes become blocked.

      3. Make sure that the inner surfaces of the tubes are dry.
