Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-49-350-081 Remove the Damaged Screw Thread Inserts

      1. Remove the damaged screw thread inserts.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.

      2. Refer to Figure.

    2. SUBTASK 75-24-49-220-088 Examine the Threads for Damage and Raised Material

      1. Examine the threads.

      1. Damage, which does not permit the installation of the new screw thread insert is not permitted.

      2. Remove raised material.

    3. SUBTASK 75-24-49-350-082 Install the New Screw Thread Inserts

      1. Install the new screw thread inserts as necessary.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.

    4. SUBTASK 75-24-49-220-089 Do the Post Repair Inspection

      1. Examine the screw thread inserts for correct installation.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
