General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the joint heat shield assembly. For the other active clearance control valve parts, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 75-24-51-100-400.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-51-110-059-001 Remove the Grease and Oil from the Joint Heat Shield Assembly

      1. Clean the joint heat shield assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      1. Locally swab or wipe clean with solvent.

    2. SUBTASK 75-24-51-110-059-002 Remove the Grease and Oil from the Joint Heat Shield Assembly

      1. Clean the joint heat shield assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Degrease Parts by Aqueous Cleaning.
