General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the ACC seal retainer. For the other active clearance control valve parts, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 75-24-51-100-400.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-51-110-070 Remove the Grease and Oil from the ACC Seal Retainer

      1. Clean the ACC seal retainer. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Degrease Parts by Aqueous Cleaning.

    2. SUBTASK 75-24-51-110-076 Remove the Carbon and Scale from the ACC Seal Retainer

      1. Clean the ACC seal retainer. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-13-300-503.

      1. Clean the Components (Long Soak for Cobalt and Nickel Based Alloys and Heat and Non-Corrosion Resistant Steels).
