General

This TASK gives the procedure to clean the loop clamp bracket. For the other parts of the EGT harness and junction box, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 77-21-43-100-400.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants, refer to the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 77-21-43-110-052-001 Remove the Rust and Carbon

      1. Remove the rust and carbon. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-13-300-503.

      1. Cleaning of components (long soak, for cobalt and nickel base alloys and non-corrosion resistant steels).

    2. SUBTASK 77-21-43-110-059 Remove the Grease and Oil

      1. Remove the grease and oil. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Degrease parts by aqueous cleaning.
