    1. SUBTASK 79-11-41-350-061 Remove the Damaged Wire Thread Inserts

    1. Refer to Figure or Figure.

      2. Remove the damaged wire thread inserts.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.

    2. SUBTASK 79-11-41-220-113 Examine the Threads

    1. Refer to Figure or Figure.

      2. Examine the threads.

      1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.

    3. SUBTASK 79-11-41-350-062 Install the New Wire Thread Inserts

    1. Refer to Figure or Figure.

      2. Install the new wire thread inserts.

      3. Remove the tangs.

      1. NOTE

        All free tangs shall be removed from the fan frame immediately after breaking off.

    4. SUBTASK 79-11-41-330-059 Repair the Damaged Anodic Treatment

      1. Check the surface.

      1. Do the touch-up process if the anodic treatment has been damaged by the wire thread insert installation.

    5. SUBTASK 79-11-41-230-063 Do a Crack Test on the Repaired Area

      1. Do a crack test on the repaired area.
