General
This repair gives the procedure for replacing inserts of the ACOC inlet duct.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.
NOTE
To identify the consumable materials, refer to the PCI.

Use extraction tool.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
Remove and discard the damaged inserts.
Use gage for tapping hole, if necessary.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
Examine threads of the ACOC inlet duct bosses and flanges.
Apply jointing compound to threads of new inserts.
Use insertion tool.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
Install new inserts into the duct.
SUBTASK 79-21-42-350-052 Replace the Damaged Inserts
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
Visually examine repaired area.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-08-300-501.
If necessary, do this TASK again.
Do a check on torque of repaired inserts.
