TASK 23-44-41-300-003 Maintenance Interphone Jack Cable - Replace The Cable, Repair-003 (VRS2925)
General
The harness must be disassembled only as necessary to get access to the damaged cables.

Refer to VRS2977 (Repair-001) TASK 23-44-41-300-001.
Disassemble the backclamps and the connectors to get access to the damaged cables.
Use cable of the correct type and length.
Attach the new contacts, refer to VRS2984. (Repair-002) TASK 23-44-41-300-002.
Install the new identification sleeves in the positions noted in Step above, refer to VRS7002 (Repair-001) SPM TASK 70-35-25-300-001-F01.
Replace the cables.
Refer to VRS2977 (Repair-001) TASK 23-44-41-300-001.
Assemble the backclamps and the connectors.
Cut cable to a length to ensure 26 in. (660.400 mm) between backshell and interphone jack.
Strip braid of cable to allow 3.5 in. (88.900 mm) from back of intercom jack.
Place tier sleeving over edge of braiding approx 1 in. (25.400 mm).
Sleeve '4000RJ' over cable.
Sleeve 'S' over blue core.
Sleeve 'R' over orange core.
Sleeve 'T' over white core.
Connection Data for I/C jack.
Pin No. 'S' is wire no. Blue 8C001.
Pin No. 'R' is wire no. Orange 8C002.
Pin No. 'T' is wire no. White 8C003.
Connect using solder (BS441).
Assemble jack plug and solder connection.
Tie the cables in the positions noted in Step, refer to VRS2969 (Repair-004) TASK 23-44-41-300-004.
Tie the cables.
Refer to TASK 23-44-41-700-301.
Do a continuity and insulation test.
SUBTASK 23-44-41-350-052 Replace the Cables
Use the CoMat 06-153 FELT TIP MARKER, RAPID DRYING marking pen.
Put the repair scheme number VRS2925 on the identification sleeve of the harness, adjacent to the part number.
