Procedure

1. 1. Refer to TASK 71-21-11-100-000 (CLEANING-000).
1. Refer to Figure.
2. 1. Apply the masking tape to the areas which are not to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.
    Use CoMat 02-001 ADHESIVE TAPE (MASKING) or CoMat 02-005 ADHESIVE TAPE (MASKING).
    Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
3. 1. Use CoMat 05-003 ABRASIVE MEDIUM ALUMINUM OXIDE, 120/220 GRADE.
    Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
    Use abrasive blast equipment.
4. Remove masking tape.
5. 1. Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
6. 1. Refer to TASK 70-11-26-300-503.
    Use vapor degreasing facility.
1. Refer to Figure.
2. 1. Apply the masking tape to the areas which are not to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.
    Use CoMat 02-019 TAPE, ADHESIVE PAPER HEAT RESISTING MASKING or CoMat 02-002 ADHESIVE TAPE GENERALPURPOSE PAPER.
    Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
3. 1. Use CoMat 10-004 DRY FILM LUBRICANT and CoMat 07-009 THINNER.
    The thickness of the dry film lubricant is to be 0.00012 to 0.0006 in. (0.003 to 0.015 mm).
    Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
4. Remove the masking tape.
5. 1. Stove for two hours between 365 and 383 deg F (185 to 195 deg C).
    Use an applicable oven.
6. 1. Refer to TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
7. 1. Measure the dimension of the coated area with an external micrometer.

Apply the dry film lubricant to the areas and locations of the engine front mount tube assembly
