Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-074 Remove Damaged Terminals

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the terminal.

      1. CAUTION

        DO NOT CUT THE CONDUCTOR.

        Remove the insulation from the cable

      2. Use a cable stripper.

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-075 Install the Terminal

    2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Install the terminal

      2. Put the conductor into the terminal barrel.

      3. Use a crimping tool.

      1. Install cable identification sleeve

      2. Refer to Repair, VRS1077 (Repair-005) TASK 71-52-43-300-005.

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-076 Install the Alumel and Chromel Terminals

    2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Install the terminal

      2. Put the conductor into the terminal barrel.

      3. Use a crimping tool.

      1. Fusion weld the terminal barrel

      2. Refer to SPM TASK 70-31-13-310-501.

      1. Install cable identification sleeve

      2. Refer to Repair, VRS1077 (Repair-005) TASK 71-52-43-300-005.
