General

This TASK gives the procedure to remove the ACOC oil temperature thermocouple.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha-variants refer to the IPC.

For all parts identified in a different Chapter/Section/Subject, the applicable Chapter/Section/Subject comes before the item number.

Apply the approved CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal.

Discard all rubber seal rings removed in this procedure.

The thermocouple removed in the procedure must have its maintenance completed, as given in the Toshiba Component Maintenance Manual (79-32-15).

Seal all openings when the components are disconnected to prevent contamination from unwanted material.

To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-030-053 Disconnect the Electrical Connector

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the EEC harness EEC Fan Harness (71-51-41, 01-005) from the ACOC oil temperature thermocouple ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple (79-32-15, 01-200).

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-32-050-065 Remove the ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the two bolts ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple (79-32-15, 01-210) that attach the ACOC oil temperature thermocouple ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple (79-32-15, 01-200) to the ACOC and position the container to catch the oil spill.

    4. Remove the thermocouple ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple (79-32-15, 01-200) with the packing ACOC Oil Temperature Thermocouple (79-32-15, 01-220). Discard the packing.
