WARNING

DO NOT GET ENGINE OIL ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE OIL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.

WARNING

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU WORK ON THE ENGINE COMPONENTS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS CAN STAY HOT FOR UP TO ONE HOUR.

CAUTION

DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL OR OIL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL OR OIL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL OR OIL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-00-60-050-154 Remove the Coupling From the Overflow Port of Oil Tank

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Drain the engine oil tank, refer to TASK 71-00-00-600-003.

    4. Remove the dust cover POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE (71-00-20, 02-100).

    5. Remove the coupling POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE (71-00-20, 02-120).

    6. Remove and discard the packing POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE (71-00-20, 02-110).

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Remove the dust cover POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE (71-00-20, 02-130).

    5. Remove and discard the packing POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE (71-00-20, 02-140).
