NOTE
Let the engine oil drain for a minimum of 10 minutes.Drain the oil from the tank into the Container.

WARNING
DO NOT LET THE OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. THE OIL IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY.
WARNING
HOT OIL CAN SPRAY ON A PERSON AND CAN CAUSE BURNS. DO NOT REMOVE THE OIL TANK CAP FOR FIVE MINUTES AFTER THE ENGINE STOPS, THIS WILL LET THE PRESSURE IN THE OIL TANK DECREASE.
CAUTION
DO NOT LET THE ENGINE MOTOR WHEN THE OIL IS DRAINED.
CAUTION
YOU MUST NOT PUT OIL WHICH HAS BEEN USED BACK INTO THE SYSTEM.Drain the oil tank.
SUBTASK 71-00-00-610-051 Drain the Oil Tank
Refer to Figure.
Lightly lubricate the new ENGINE-MAIN GEARBOX CASE AND FITTINGS (72-60-21, 01-100) preformed packing 1 off and the threads of the oil tank drain plug with CoMat 10-077 APPROVED ENGINE OILS.
Install the preformed packing. Refer to SPM TASK 70-44-01-400-501.
Safety the oil tank drain plug with CoMat 02-141 LOCKWIRE. Refer to SPM TASK 70-42-05-400-501.
