Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-25-320-056 Remove the Remaining Plasma Spray from the Outside Diameter of the No. 3 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Remove the remaining plasma spray by machining.

      1. Make sure the outside diameter of the holder assembly is machined to 8.327 to 8.353 in. (211.51 to 212.17 mm) to permit coat thickness of 0.003 to 0.015 in. (0.08 to 0.38 mm) each side after finish machining.

        Keep base metal removal to a minimum.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-25-340-054 Apply Plasma Spray to the Outside Diameter of the No. 3 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Apply plasma spray to the outside diameter.

      1. Plasma spray machined area to a coat thickness sufficient to allow for 0.003 to 0.015 in. (0.08 to 0.38 mm) maximum each side after finish machining.

        Refer to the SPM TASK 70-34-03-340-501.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-25-320-057 Finish Machine Plasma Sprayed Areas on the Outside Diameter of the No. 3 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Finish machine plasma sprayed diameters to dimensions specified in Figure.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-25-220-105 Visually Examine the Repaired Diameters on the No. 3 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly Repair

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Visually inspect repaired diameters.
