Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-41-350-001 Blend the Damaged Surface of the No. 1 Bearing Front Support Assembly (01-300)

    1. Refer to Figure.

      3. Examine the repaired No.1 bearing front support assembly.

      1. Refer to TASK 72-32-41-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-41-220-083 Clean the Repaired Area, Except at Area A

      1. Wipe the repaired area with solvent and cloth.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-41-220-084 Surface Treat the Repaired Area, Except at Area A

      1. Use a clean brush to apply one coat of cleaner/passivator. Keep the area wet for 5 to 10 minutes.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-41-380-001 Clean the Repaired Surface, Except at Area A

    1. Clean the repaired area with clean water or with a clean cloth.

      2. Dry the repaired area.

      1. After complete removal of cleaner/passivator residual by clean wet cloth, dry the repaired area with a clean dry cloth or with a clean air-flow.

    5. SUBTASK 72-32-41-380-002 Touch Up the Paint on the Repaired Surface at Area A

      1. Touch up the paint.

      1. Refer to Repair 013, VRS1962 TASK 72-32-41-300-013 (REPAIR-013).
