Refer to TASK 72-32-70-100-000 (CLEANING-000).
Remove dry film lubricant, if necessary.
SUBTASK 72-32-70-110-054 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501 and SPM TASK 70-12-02-120-501.
Use abrasive blast equipment.
Abrasive blast the surfaces which are to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-05-380-501.
Remove the abrasive grit.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.
Remove the grease from the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-70-120-051 Abrasive Blast the Pin
The thickness of dry film lubricant is to be 0.00031 to 0.0012 in. (0.008 to 0.0030 mm).
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Apply the dry film lubricant.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Examine the layer of dry film lubricant.
