This Repair must only be done when the instruction to do so is given in 72-41-23 Inspection/Check.
This Repair replaces the surface protection on the rear seal housing.
The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK/SUBTASK numbers are in the SPM.

Use vibration peen method by SPM TASK 70-09-00-400-501. See Figure, index [2].
Mark the part with VRS6323 adjacent to the assembly part number.
SUBTASK 72-41-23-350-140 Identify Repair
Use CoMat 07-035 CORROSION RESISTANT COATING (Type A or Type B Coating) by SPM TASK 70-38-21-380-501.
Use CoMat 07-104 ALUMINIUM HIGH HEAT RESISTANT PAINT (Type A or Type B Coating) by SPM TASK 70-38-21-380-501.
Prepare and apply surface protection coating on the part by one of the following procedures. Refer to Figure. Unless otherwise stated in Figure, apply coat all over the part.

Use temporary marking by SPM TASK 70-09-01-400-501. See Figure, index [2].
Mark the part with the part number and VRS6323.
