TASK 72-41-34-300-054 HPC Vane Actuating Crankshaft - Repair By Locally Re-Applying Surface Protection, Repair-054 (VRS6180)
General
This Repair must only be done when the instruction to do so is given in 72-41-34 Inspection.
The TASK gives the procedure to repair the vane actuating crank shaft by locally re-applying surface protection.
TASKs identified by SPM TASK are in the Standard Practices and Processes Manual (SPM).

CAUTION
UNMASKED SURFACES MUST NOT BE TOUCHED WITH BARE HANDS. CLEAN POLYTHENE OR COTTON GLOVES MUST BE WORN.
CAUTION
IF SURFACES MUST BE TOUCHED OR IF SURFACES ARE DIRTY, DO Step AGAIN.Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-35-380-001, SUBTASK 70-38-35-380-003.
Use CoMat 07-038 AIR DRYING ENAMEL with a paint brush.
Let the air dry for a minimum of 1 hour.
Apply protection.

Make a mark on the part number adjacent to the existing marks, which are found below the surface protection.
Use a paint brush.
