Keep material removal to the minimum to remove old coating or damage.
Machine the front lip.

Examine dimensionally.

Mask the areas A3.
Surface texture must be 120 to 200 microinch RMS (3.0 to 5.0 micrometer Ra).
Blasting in area A2 is permitted.

Grit blast the areas A1.
