This TASK gives the procedure to clean the EEC support. For other EEC parts, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 73-22-34-100-400.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 73-22-34-110-053-001 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-13-300-503.

      1. Cleaning of components (long soak, for cobalt and nickel base alloys and heat and corrosion resistant steels).

    2. SUBTASK 73-22-34-110-053-002 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Moderate cleaning.

    3. SUBTASK 73-22-34-110-053-003 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      1. Solvent cleaning (titanium and all other metals).

    4. SUBTASK 73-22-34-110-053-004 Remove the Grease and Unwanted Particles

      1. Remove the grease and unwanted particles. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      1. Vapor degrease.
