This TASK gives the procedure to clean the periseal housing of the ACC.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used.

DO NOT CLEAN THE PARTS IF THERE ARE SIGNS OF UNUSUAL RUNNING CONDITIONS LIKE OIL FIRE OR TITANIUM FIRE BEFORE AGREED WITH IAE TECHNICAL SERVICES. REFER TO TASK 72-00-50-220-001 (Inspection-001).

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-49-110-051 Clean the Periseal Housing of the ACC

      1. Clean the periseal housing. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Aqueous cleaning.

      2. Use this procedure only if the periseal seal ring is removed.

      2. Clean the periseal housing. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

      1. Locally swap or wipe clean with solvent.

      2. Use this procedure if the periseal seal ring is installed.
