WARNING

DO NOT REMOVE FILLER CAP OF THE OIL TANK IMMEDIATELY AFTER ENGINE OPERATION. LET THE OIL PRESSURE DECREASE FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN. IF YOU OPEN THE FILLER CAP WHEN THERE IS PRESSURE IN THE OIL TANK THE OIL CAN SERIOUSLY BURN.

Procedure

    1. Oil and Fuel Systems Priming Procedure, Testing-000

    2. Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-B00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-002).

    3. Make sure the fuel pump has a minimum of 5 psig (34.5 kPa) fuel supply pressure.

      1. Do a wet motor leak check. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-002 (TESTING-002).

      2. Make sure the oil pressure is 10 psig (68.9 kPa) or more in less than 30 seconds after you start to motor the engine.

      3. Make sure the fuel flow is 100 pph or more in less than 30 seconds after you set the mode to FUEL ON.

    4. Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-B00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-002).

    2. Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-B00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-002).

    3. Dry motor the engine for one minute. Make sure the oil pressure is 10 psi (68.9 kPa) or more after 30 seconds. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-001 (TESTING-001).

    4. Fill the oil tank. Refer to TASK 71-00-00-700-064-B00 (TESTING-000, CONFIG-002).
