Refer to Repair, VRS1983 TASK 72-32-86-300-009 (REPAIR-009).
Remove the pad(s) adjacent to the damaged area(s), if necessary.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-350-071 Remove the Pad of the Rear Fairing Assembly, if Necessary
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.
Clean the area that is to be repaired.
Remove any loose fibers and the raised materials from the damaged area.
Do Step again.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-380-056 Prepare the Rear Fairing Assembly for the Repair
Use CoMat 08-015 RESIN and CoMat 08-016 HARDENER.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-36-02-360-501.

WARNING
DURING THE OPERATION, WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND GOGGLES.
WARNING
MAKE SURE THERE IS SUFFICIENT VENTILATION DURING THE OPERATION.Make up the adhesive.
Remove the excess adhesive.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-360-060 Make Up and Apply the Two-Part Low Temperature Curing Adhesive
Use an oven.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-36-02-360-501.

CAUTION
BEFORE CURING, LET THE AIR OUT OF THE ADHESIVE BY ROLLER OR EQUIVALENT.
CAUTION
BE CAREFUL THAT THE ADHESIVE IS NOT DEFORMED DURING CURING PROCESS.Cure the adhesive.
Repair material must be flush to the adjacent surface profile.
Use CoMat 05-079 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE or CoMat 05-080 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and/or fine file.
Surface finish on the repaired area should be same as that of the adjacent area.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Remove excess adhesive and make smooth the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-360-061 Cure the Two-Part Low Temperature Curing Adhesive
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.
Use wipe method.
Clean the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-110-057 Clean the Repaired Area of the Rear Fairing Assembly
Nicks, dents, scratches, delamination or other damages are not permitted.
Visually examine the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-86-220-103 Examine the Repaired Area of the Rear Fairing Assembly
Refer to Repair, VRS1983 TASK 72-32-86-300-009 (REPAIR-009).
Install the pad(s) to the repaired area(s), if they are removed by Step.
