General
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.
For all parts identified in a different Chapter/Section/Subject, the applicable Chapter/Section/Subject comes before the Fig./item number.
Apply the approved penetrating oil before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal. For the approved oils and procedures, refer to TASK 70-64-00-640-501.
Discard all rubber seal rings, cotter pins and keywashers removed in this procedure.

Remove the blanking plugs Air Intake Cowl (71-11-11, 01-210) from the cowl.
Attach the IAE 1N20403 Sling 1 off to a hoist and the cowl V2500-A5-71-11-11-02A-941A-D (71-11-11, 02-005).
Remove the coupling assembly Anti-Ice Ducts (30-21-49, 01-090) at the anti-ice duct joint. Discard the seal (30-21-49 ,01-100).
Disconnect the instrument ENGINE FUEL AND CONTROL-P2/T2 PROBE ASSEMBLY (73-22-48, 02-020) air tube from the cowl aft bulkhead P2/T2 union P2/T2 Sensor Air Tube (73-22-48, 01-040).
Remove the 36 bolts Air Intake Cowl (71-11-11, 01-008) at the fan case front flange.
Move the cowl forwards and lower it on to the IAE 1N20401 Dolly 1 off.
Remove the IAE 1N20403 Sling 1 off from the cowl.
Install the blanking plugs Air Intake Cowl (71-11-11, 01-210) in the cowl.
Put the IAE 1J12183 cover 1 off on the fan case.
