Refer to TASK 71-21-11-100-000 (CLEANING-000).
Remove the dry film lubricant.
SUBTASK 71-21-11-110-063 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant
Refer to Figure.
Use IAE 3J12857 Grinding fixture 1 off.
Use Universal Grinder 1 off.
NOTE
If surface has been previously repaired using nickel plate, remove old plating completely.Install the fixture on the grinding machine.
SUBTASK 71-21-11-330-001 Grind the Damaged Outer Diameter
Use an Oven 1 off.
Heat treat the part for one hour at 374 to 410 deg F (190 to 210 deg C).
SUBTASK 71-21-11-370-001 Stress Relieve the Engine Front Mount Tube Assembly
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
SUBTASK 71-21-11-230-061 Examine the Engine Front Mount Tube Assembly for Cracks

Use an Oven 1 off.
Heat treat part for one hour at 374 to 410 deg F (190 to 210 deg C).

Visually examine the nickel plate.

Install the fixture on the grinding machine.

Visually examine and measure the dimensions of the outer diameter.

Use electrolytic marking equipment.
Mark VRS1075 adjacent to the part number.

Apply the dry film lubricant to the repaired area.
