Use portable dressing equipment, CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and/or CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Remove the damaged layer on the flange.
Surface finish on repaired area must be same as that of the adjacent area. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
NOTE
Remove the minimum quantity of material necessary to remove the damage.Make smooth and polish the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-38-11-350-085 Remove the Damage at the Flange of the Inlet Cone
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.

WARNING
DO NOT GET THE RESIN MIXTURE ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GLOVES, GOGGLES, AND A FACE MASK. USE THE RESIN IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. IF YOU GET THE RESIN ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES GET MEDICAL AID IMMEDIATELY.Clean the repaired area.
Use CoMat 08-015 RESIN and CoMat 08-016 HARDENER. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-36-02-360-501, SUBTASK 70-36-02-360-021.
Make up the epoxy resin.
SUBTASK 72-38-11-350-086 Apply a Thin Layer of Epoxy Resin to the Repaired Surface
Surface finish on repaired area must be same as that of the adjacent area.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Make smooth and polish the repaired area, if necessary.
